Storage of the IP address

We store the IP address transmitted by your web browser for a strictly earmarked period of seven days in the interest of recognising, limiting and eliminating attacks on our websites. At the end of this period, we delete or anonymise the IP address. The legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f GDPR.

Usage data

When you visit our website, so-called usage data is temporarily stored on our web server as a log for statistical purposes in order to improve the quality of our website. This data record consists of

  • of the page from which the file was requested,
  • the name of the file,
  • the date and time of the request,
  • the amount of data transferred,
  • the access status (file transferred, file not found),
  • the description of the type of web browser used,
  • the IP address of the requesting computer, which is shortened so that a personal reference can no longer be established.

Data transfer to third parties

We transfer your data to service providers who support us in the operation of our websites and the associated processes as part of order processing in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR. Our service providers are strictly bound by our instructions and are contractually bound accordingly. We use the following service providers: CBXNET combox internet GmbH, Google Analytics, CleverReach GmbH & Co. KG, concludis GmbH, Wistia

Data transfer to third countries

In some cases, we transfer personal data to a third country outside the EU. In each case, we have ensured an appropriate level of data protection:

In the case of Google Analytics (USA) and Wistia Inc. (USA), an adequate level of data protection results from the corresponding participation in the Privacy Shield Agreement (Art. 45 (1) GDPR).

Cookies

We use cookies on our websites. Cookies are small text files that can be stored and read on your end device. A distinction is made between session cookies, which are deleted as soon as you close your browser, and permanent cookies, which are stored beyond the individual session. Cookies can contain data that makes it possible to recognise the device used. In some cases, however, cookies only contain information on certain settings that are not personally identifiable.

We use session cookies and permanent cookies on our websites. The processing is carried out on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f GDPR and in the interest of optimising or enabling user guidance and adapting the presentation of our website.

You can set your browser so that it informs you about the placement of cookies. This makes the use of cookies transparent for you. You can also delete cookies at any time via the corresponding browser setting and prevent the setting of new cookies. Please note that our websites may then not be displayed optimally and some functions may no longer be technically available.

Google Analytics

We create pseudonymised user profiles with the help of Google Analytics in order to design our website in line with requirements. Google Analytics uses cookies that are stored on your end device and can be read by us. In this way, we are able to recognise returning visitors and count them as such. The data processing takes place on the basis of your consent, which you have given us through the cookie banner, and on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f GDPR or § 15 para. 3 TMG and in the interest of finding out how often our websites have been accessed by different users.

The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. However, as we have activated IP anonymisation on this website, your IP address will be truncated by Google beforehand within member states of the European Union. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA (an adequate level of data protection is provided by Google's participation in the Privacy Shield in accordance with Art. 45 para. 1 GDPR) and only shortened there. We have entered into data processing agreements with Google Inc (USA), CBXNET combox internet GmbH, CleverReach GmbH & Co. KG, concludis GmbH, in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR. Google will therefore only use all information strictly for the purpose of analysing the use of our website for us and compiling reports on website activity.

You can object to the processing at any time. Please use one of the following options to do so:

  • You may refuse the use of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings on your browser, however please note that if you do this you may not be able to use the full functionality of this website.
  • You can also prevent Google from collecting the data generated by the cookie and relating to your use of the website (including your IP address) and from processing this data by Google by clicking on the following link http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de download and install the available browser plugin.

You can also prevent data collection by Google Analytics by clicking on the following link. An opt-out cookie will be set to permanently prevent the future collection of your data when you visit this website:

We take technical and organisational measures to protect your data from unauthorised access as comprehensively as possible. We use an encryption process on our website. You can recognise this by the fact that the lock symbol in the status bar of your browser is closed and the address line begins with https://.
